Marathon Competition Terms and Conditions.
£5 per entry fee. Enter as
many time as you like. All entry fees go to the Deafblind Scotland Charity.
The time used for the competition
is the time that will be measured by the official time keeping system used by
the Edinburgh marathon organisers.
As this is my first marathon I
have no idea what time I will run. I do expect my time to be between 4:00:00
and 05:00:00.
Each entry will reserve a time
i.e. nobody else can reserve that time.
If nobody guesses my actual time
then the nearest guess will win. If two entries have equal nearest guesses
then the prize will be shared equally.
You must have paid your entry fee
before I run the marathon on June 13th 2004. Else your entry will be deleted
from the database by 9am on June 13th.
Entry fees must be paid using the
Royal Bank of Scotlands secure payment gateway, Fastpay at
www.fastpay.com
Should I fail to complete the
marathon or the timing facilities fail, the competition will be declared void
and I will return your entry fee. So please provide a valid email address with
your entry.
The winner will be announced after
the Edinburgh Marathon organisation publish runners times on their official
website, www.edinburgh-marathon.co.uk . This will normally happen a couple of days
after the run.
The winner can decide which retailers gift voucher they would prefer to receive.
